What is Treasure Inspiration?

Treasure Inspiration is a free practice app for UK secondary school students (Year 7 to Year 11). It offers short, curriculum aligned questions in Mathematics, English, Combined Science and other core subjects, with a friendly digital tutor called Treasure.

How do I start my first session?

Complete the short onboarding to set a display name, year group and focus subjects. From the Dashboard, tap a focus subject or open Choose Subjects to pick a topic and level. Sessions take around 5 to 10 minutes.

Do I need an account to use the app?

Accepted Answer

No. You do not need to sign up, log in or provide an email address. You choose a display name during onboarding and everything is stored on your own device.

Where is my progress saved?

Accepted Answer

All progress, points, badges, purchases and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. If you clear your browser data or switch device, your progress will not carry over.

Can I move my progress to another device?

Accepted Answer

Not at the moment. Because we do not run a server or accounts, progress stays on the device it was earned on. We plan to add an optional export feature in a future update.

Question 6

How do Treasure points and the Reward Shop work?

You earn Treasure points by answering questions correctly, keeping streaks and hitting weekly goals. Points can be spent in the Reward Shop on stickers, digital books and extra themes. Points and items have no real world monetary value.

Where can I see what I have bought?

Accepted Answer

Open Reward Shop and switch to the My Rewards tab. You will find your stickers, unlocked books, themes and a full order history with receipts.

How are questions chosen each session?

Each topic and level has a pool of at least 20 questions. A rotation system tracks what you have recently seen on your device and serves fresh questions first, so consecutive sessions feel different.

Is Treasure Inspiration affiliated with any exam board?

Accepted Answer

No. Content is inspired by the UK secondary curriculum but Treasure Inspiration is not endorsed by any exam board, school or awarding body.

I have a learning difficulty. What can help?

Open Settings to turn on High Contrast mode, reading tints, larger text, a dyslexia friendly font and Read Aloud narration. You can also reduce animations if motion is distracting.

Does Read Aloud send my voice anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Read Aloud uses your device's built in speech engine, so audio is created locally by your browser or operating system. Nothing is sent to us.

How do I reset my progress?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings and use 'Reset all progress'. This clears your local data on this device and cannot be undone.

My points or streak did not update. What now?

Accepted Answer

First, refresh the page. If your browser is in private or incognito mode, storage may be cleared when you close the tab, so switch to a normal window. If the problem continues, email us with your device and browser details.
